Cuprisin sitting too close to Kane?
In his column today, the normally fair-minded Tim Cuprisin had this to say:
Radio talkers aren’t insiders this year. In the past four presidential races, conservative talk radio has offered valuable insight into Republican politics. Not this time.
Milwaukee talkers Charlie Sykes and Mark Belling have been dumping on Mike Huckabee. John McCain has been a target for years.
As we know, Huckabee won Iowa and McCain won New Hampshire.
That doesn’t necessarily mean either will be nominated. It means the talkers were uncharacteristically out of sync with Republican voters in the first two contests.
So, because Iowa and New Hampshire voters don’t agree with Skyes and Belling, conservative talk radio isn’t offering valuable insight?
This actually proves the point that talkers have been making for years. Talk show hosts don’t drive their listeners to vote certain ways. It’s the media and the left that think conservatives are lemmings and will do what their talk show masters tell them to do. This vindicates the talk show hosts and corroborates what they’ve been saying all along.
