Big Oil kills again
My first reaction is… HA!
I don’t have a lot of time to work on this today because I’m off to do some comedy in Illinois… but… maybe we could work the story from this angle. It seems that he was trying to steal the gas from this riding lawn mower. He probably had to steal the gas because he needed it to get to work at his minimum wage job…or he had to go apply for jobs the next morning and he was out trying to get the gas so he could support his family. He had to steal it because the gas tax was too high. (We are one of the highest in the nation remember) We should push Gov. Doyle to lower the gas tax to help out people like this poor man. We could even call it “Billy Joe’s Law” or whatever when we learn his name. If the Gov won’t do it, then obviously, he hates poor people.
On second thought, we better not put this up for debate. We’d end up with a 7 day waiting period to buy gas, tiered pricing depending on income, and a new tax to pay for the new bureaucracy to oversee both.
